Immensely pleased to discover that my manuscript, Fatal Accidents, Not Necessarily Complete, was selected as a finalist for NMP/DIAGRAM's 2011 chapbook competition. There were over 500 submissions this year and to be included in the final round of writers is truly an honor. Since the fine folks at New Michigan Press have yet to officially announce their results, I'll hold my tongue on winners for the moment - though I am most certainly in good company.
I've been a happy follower of DIAGRAM for quite some time now. Their dedication to the industry of words and possibilities of a sentence are unparelleled in my mind. I consider this to be a major, major achievement.
And what more can a man ask for than a little bit of positive feedback?
