Hypnose bei Schrenck-Notzing - Albert von Keller

Went to an art exhibit of Albert von Keller's, a German painter from the turn of the twentieth century who was captivated by seances, the occult, attempts at communicating with the dead. Funny to think. A new world of technology in 1900. Rows of gramophones and recording equipment, cameras and X-ray machines, all hooked up to each other beneath a table of people trying to talk to dead relatives. One fella has the brains to invent the first record player. Another fella decides to place a dog at the speaker, then plays a wax cylinder of its dead master's voice. Ladies and gents, science is thah fewtchaah.
